Special evening visit to SHWEDAGON PAGODA, Largest pagoda in the world and one of the sacred shrines in Asia. That is, it has been good for twenty five centuries since the Shwedagon was built. MAHA VIJAYA PAGODA we built in 1980 to commomoraic the first successful unification of the Theravada order in Myanmar.

Morning, excursion to BAGO, 2 hours drive to northwest of Yangon was an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom. SHWEMAWDAW PAGODA, an ancient venerated and the highest step to Myanmar. SHWETHALYANG, the famous reclining image of Buddha. The famous one is KALAYANI SIMA (Ordination Hall), KYAIPUN PAGODA, contains four 90 ft high huge Buddha images back to back. Shopping at BAGO MARKET, a basic of country life and traditions and lunch. Returning, to Yangon after lunch at Bago, having a sight of village on the way.

Morning visit to THANLYIN, once an important trading center under the Portuguese adventurer named Philip De Brito.  A piecederer of relic chambers, he paid for his sacrilegious act by being impaled by Anaukphetlun in 1613. Tour highlights include KYAIKKHAUK PAGODA, the remains of an 18th century , Roman Catholic Church, many a bloody battle was fought among the now ancient trees and tiny Pagoda. A few miles out, on the road to KYAUK-TAN, can be found the remains of the old Mon city of Pagoda. The city is believed to have been sacked in the eleventh century by the Burmese King Aniruddhadeva. YELE PAYA (a pagoda on a small island) at Kyauk-Tan are worth visiting. THANLYIN MARKET, a shopping center of people around Thanlyin and also village life can be seen.
After taking lunch return to Yangon.

Morning sightseeing, in the city tour highlights include CHAUKTAKYI PAGODA, a colossal reclining Buddha, KABARAYE (World Peace Pagoda) Mahapasana Cave Tripitaka Taik in Kabaraye Campus, and shopping at BOGYOKE AUNG SAN MARKET.
After transfer to Yangon Airport for departure flight.
